I am piecing together all of the middle east and Arabic world here in one big miss-mash but it is fun.
I build a tea bar for my hood, so the old men would have somewhere to hang out and discuss the stage of the world. They can sip sweet sweet tea play chess, card or read the news paper. The bar do serve a bit of food as well. Others come here to close a deal or meet friends after work.
The lot is defined as a “Local water hole”
On another location in the same world I have build a huge public pool lot. The place was build by a local hotel who wanted something pretty for their catalogues.
I just downloaded Fuzzy Logic Dishwasher’ world “the Prosperous Wraithsands” and for my CmT garden challenge. I really like the world so I have started to make some community lots for it.
Today I build a small mosque
Mind that I have never been in one, so I am working off google images here. I hope I got it fairly right.
I of course had to actually go ahead and make a family to live in the house. I also couldn’t just do that, the rest of the house had to haveĀ makeover as well… Yeah I know I am crazy and I spend too much time on sims.
On the LivingSims Forum, I was challenged to do create a court yard space inspired by a picture of a Moroccan court yard. It was FUN. I used one of the EA house from Egypt (WA). And I have not used a lot of CC. The room is also fully functional! The deco is not in the way of them getting around, because I have locked the doors I didn’t wan the sims to use.
When Shada got married to a wealthy Egyptian man (Kamal), she was homesick the whole first year. Kamal sew that she was unhappy away from her home country, Morocco, so he had the courtyard in their home completely redone, so that she could feel at home in her own home. Now many years later after Kamal has past away, she still lives in the house, with her son, his wife and her grand daughter. Shada still loves her courtyard garden and as good care of it as she does of her family.
